Hints for event organisers:

Q: How big a hall will I need ?

A: For 50-100 people the dancing area should ideally be 10m x 20m with additional space round the edge for sitting at small tables. Most church or village halls are suitable.

Q: What is the best time to start an evening event ?

A: We normally suggest dancing from 6.30 to 8pm then break for some food and refreshments, resuming dancing from 8.45 to 10.15

Q: Do the dancers need to know what they're doing ?

A: Most of our dances are suitable for beginners, and are 'walked through' first. Our callers are expert at assessing the level of experience of the dancers and adjusting the programme accordingly. Of course, if you have some expert dancers we can try something more challenging.

Q: Will the band want beer ?

A: If the Chateaux Lafite's run out, beer will have to do !
